As we eagerly await opening, we're looking for a Maintenance Handyperson to join our team and play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and safety of all guests by keeping our facilities in top-notch condition.
76 apartments catering to both the corporate and leisure travel markets Conference room, gym & cafe Located in the heart of Maitland's High Street commercial hub Responsibilities This is an exciting maintenance role, perfect for someone with a keen eye for detail and an impeccable sense of pride in their work.
Working closely with the Hotel Manager, you'll be part of a small team of genuine people looking to create lasting memories and exceptional experiences for each and every guest.
No day will be the same, but each day you'll expertly: Manage and assist in new building defects Be proficient in patching and painting to keep our hotel looking brand new for years to come Maintain records of warranty periods for all appliances and equipment Undertake a variety of general hotel maintenance work in common areas and hotel rooms Complete repairs to apartments, equipment, and common area hardware Assist in troubleshooting electrical equipment such as TVs and air conditioners (with training provided) Respond quickly to emergencies and maintain maintenance inventory of tools and equipment Manage on-site contractors, contractor compliance and inductions, upkeep of service agreements, and building audits for compliance Work independently with an ownership mindset whilst collaborating with our reception and housekeeping teams to ensure everyone is taking great care of the hotel You'll be provided with all the tools and supplies required to be set up for success, and work closely with the hotel team to ensure that the property's condition and upkeep is improved or sustained.
