It is also a leader in the field of sports event timing.The RoleReporting to our Financial Accounting Manager, this role is responsible for the overall performance of the Accounts Payable function of the company.
This includes the delivery of accounting services, the processing of all matters relating to creditors accounts, ensuring the timely payment of third parties, staff expenses and Swatch Group invoices.As a person who is working across all our brands and departments, we require a candidate who has exceptional customer service skills, works well in a busy, fast paced environment, is able to meet tight deadlines and can multi-task.This role requires 5 days on site in our Richmond Head Office.Key ResponsibilitiesProcessing invoicesAssist managers, coordinators of other departments and site clerical staff with the proper handling of documentation relating to purchasesPreparation of payments (EFT, BPAY & Foreign Currency) on a weekly basis for third party suppliers and staff expense claimsPreparation of intercompany payments on monthly basis as well as the AP LedgerProcessing manual journals for reclassification and month end accrual entriesEnter data from invoices into SAPPerform all vendor reconciliation on a monthly basisEnsure correctly authorised and properly codedProcess retail cash float reconciliation on a timely basisProcessing urgent payment requests (including foreign currency transactionsSkills And ExperienceAppropriate tertiary qualification in Accounting or a related disciplineProven Accounts Payable experience in a high-volume environmentEFT payment experienceExperience with high volume staff expense payment and validation according to company policyExperience with accruals and reconciliationsBasic understanding of debits and credits as well as General Ledger accounting codes is essentialSAP and strong excel skills would be highly desirableHow To ApplyPlease click APPLY to submit your application.Job Location: Australia (Victoria), Level 3, 40 River Boulevard, 3121, RichmondCompany Address: The Swatch Group (Australia) PTY.
