About the Role: We are looking for a Senior Commercial Freight Forwarding Manager who is not only a strategic thinker but also a hands-on operator.
In this role, you will be directly involved in every aspect of the freight forwarding process, from managing high-value client relationships to physically overseeing job operations.
You will prepare quotes, manage key accounts, and ensure the seamless execution of shipments while balancing management responsibilities.
This is not just a leadership role—you'll be deeply engaged in the day-to-day operations, working alongside your team to ensure our clients' logistics needs are met with excellence.
Key Responsibilities: Hands-On Operations: Oversee the end-to-end handling of commercial freight jobs, ensuring all processes—from quoting to delivery—are smooth and efficient.Client Management: Maintain strong relationships with our best clients, acting as the key contact for their freight needs.Quoting & Negotiation: Personally prepare accurate and competitive quotes for airfreight, sea freight, and project logistics.Operational Involvement: Step into job management, troubleshooting issues, liaising with customs, and ensuring regulatory compliance.Team Leadership: Lead by example—work closely with your team on the ground to support and develop their skills while directly handling your own jobs.Strategic Management: Drive business growth through identifying opportunities, enhancing operational efficiency, and improving client satisfaction.About You: Hands-On Experience: You thrive in a hands-on role and enjoy being involved in the operations from start to finish.Proven experience in freight forwarding, with a track record of managing both air and sea freight jobs directly.Strong ability to prepare accurate and detailed quotes, while also negotiating effectively with clients.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to manage key accounts and provide personalized service.Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and solve problems quickly in a fast-paced environment.In-depth knowledge of customs regulations and international freight compliance.What We Offer: A dynamic, hands-on role in a respected and growing freight forwarding company.Competitive remuneration and benefits.The opportunity to work closely with clients and directly manage key aspects of freight operations.How to Apply: If you are a hands-on operator with a passion for commercial freight and logistics, then please apply for the role.
