We service our customers through multiple businesses in our portfolio: NEPEAN Building and Infrastructure (Galserv, Galintel, Weldlok), NEPEAN Engineering and Innovation, NEPEAN Power, Mining (NEPEAN Longwall), PROK, NEPEAN Conveyors, NEPEAN Transport, Gurtec, Roxon, and NEPEAN Belting Mackay with business locations in Queensland, New South Wales and Western Australia.
We are seeking an experienced General Manager to join the team and provide a fresh and innovative mindset to the business' objectives.
This position is a critical leadership position, that owns multiple facets.
Reporting into the Managing Director, this role is primarily responsible for the overall success and management of the business.
Core responsibilities include, however, are not limited to:
Create and execute business sales and operations strategySupport business development initiatives including assisting key customers and sales where requiredResponsible for financial management, including budgets, P&L and reportingFocus on continuous improvement and succession planningProvide leadership including the management and development of peopleEnsure a high quality of work or service is maintainedParticipate in management conferencesThe Right Person

Senior management experience within industrial manufacturing or heavy vehicle industry with the readiness to take the next stepStrong exposure with strategy and/or business development activitiesDemonstrated ability to lead, develop, and inspire peopleExcellent commercial acumenComfortable working with budgets, payroll, revenue and forecastingParamount communication skillsAn entrepreneurial mindset, with a strong hunger for successAt NEPEAN, we believe in leading the way with our people.
