Steel City Beverage Company is a fast-growing Australian beverage distributor and a powerful sales force in the Wollongong and ACT region that prides itself on the principle of a Customer First business. Steel City Beverage Co. stocks and distributes a wide assortment of beverage options ranging from the traditional favourites through to the latest boutique products – all at the finest possible prices.
We are looking to hire an experienced Sales Representative, who has the ambition, skill and tenacity to become the conduit for the next chapter of our success story. In this role, you will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with customers and sales growth within the Wollongong/Illawarra region.
This role is a full-time position, commencing as Casual with the ability to move to full time permanent position after a probationary period.
Responsibilities Prospect new customers across the ACT region; building and managing accounts to achieve long-term successGenerate sales among client accounts, including upselling and cross-sellingAct as the point of contact and handle customers' individual requirementsResolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely mannerSet and track sales account targets, reporting sales reports to the Managing DirectorIdentify actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growthCoordinate and collaborate with sales team to reach prospective clientsCustomarily and regularly perform field visits to customer accountsMarketing at store levelActing as a brand ambassador at all timesRequirements Hands-on experience in sales (Food &/or beverage desirable) and an ability to deliver excellent customer experienceProven track record of sales success and exceeding sales targetsExcellent communication and negotiation skillsAbility to work independentlyOrganised, proactive and able to deliver projects and answer inquiries on timeProfessionalism and strong accountabilityGo-getter attitudeEfficient software skillsValid Australian driver's licence (Traveling across assigned territory)What's On Offer Successful candidate can look forward to the following:
