This is an initial 12 month contract position (with possibility of extension or permanent employment) responsible for coordinating the installation, commissioning and engineering activities on large-scale warehouse automation projects, ensuring that the building, site services and processing equipment are installed and commissioned into full production to meet the client's specifications, within the contract schedule, budget and quality in a safe manner. This role can be based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane with travel required to our various sites Australia wide.What we offer:We offer great benefits including:Generous salary + superProgressive and innovative global company experiencing high growthEmployee Referral Bonus ProgramSalary packagingCorporate discounts on car rentals and IT products/accessoriesPaid Parental Leave + super – 12 weeks for primary carer/2 weeks secondary carerStudy Assistance & career development opportunitiesTasks and Qualifications:Key Responsibilities:Reviewing drawings and plans for mechanical and electrical installationsLiaising with project team, clients, builders and sub-contractorsProactively promoting innovation, improvement, risk identification and safety management covering Occupational Health, Safety and the EnvironmentObtaining and managing necessary materials and resourcesOrganising and supervising the subcontractors installing equipment to maintain project scheduleDay to day management of sub-contractorsCoordinating regular inspection of works for quality assuranceSupervise commissioning activitiesEnsuring safe installation procedures are followedAbout You - What We Are Looking For5+ years experience as a Site Supervisor/Manager installing large capital projectsFormal qualifications in engineering highly regarded or from a trades backgroundExperience on construction sitesKnowledge of material handling equipment highly desirableMechanical and electrical aptitudeAbility to read and interpret drawingsThorough knowledge of WHS requirementsStrong communication skillsProven leadership skillsStrong computer skills in MS office productsFlexibility to travel Australia wideIf you are a motivated and experienced Site Supervisor who enjoys the autonomy and challenge of overseeing complex projects, then we would love to hear from you.How To ApplyIf you would like to apply for the above position, please click on the 'Apply' button.
