Internal Communications Manager

Job Description Join the team redefining how the world experiences design. Our flagship campus is in Sydney, with additional campuses in Melbourne and co-working spaces in Brisbane, Perth, and Adelaide.

What you'd be doing in this role This role is focused on:
Designing and leading end-to-end internal communications programs that inform, engage, and inspire our team of 5,000 Canvanauts across the globe.Leading our internal communications measurement and reporting program, analyzing key metrics to ensure clarity and engagement in company communications.Developing our global internal communications content and editorial strategy, partnering with leaders to synthesize company-wide updates and share them appropriately.Optimizing internal communications channels for timely, relevant, and trustworthy information, focusing on content curation and driving engagement.Gathering feedback to iterate on strategies based on data and team insights.Crafting messages, talking points, Q&As, scripts, and visual content that align with Canva's tone, style, and values.You're probably a match if 5+ years of experience in an internal communications, chief of staff, or people experience role within a fast-paced environment.Exceptional written, visual, and verbal communication skills with the ability to create engaging visual content using Canva.Proven ability to translate complex concepts into clear messages.Exceptional at planning, prioritizing, and executing multiple projects simultaneously.Experience navigating complex stakeholder environments to drive outcomes.About the team & role As an Internal Communications Manager at Canva, you'll join a small, impactful team that keeps our 5,000 employees (Canvanauts) connected and engaged worldwide.
You'll develop strategies to disseminate the right information through the right channels at the right time, working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure our culture, mission, and values come to life.
No two days are the same at Canva, and we're looking for an experienced operator with exceptional communication skills and the ability to manage complex stakeholder environments.
