Flexible working arrangementsOngoing training, development, and supportFree train travel to and from workA starting salary of $113,000 plus superannuationAbout this role: Queensland Rail is excited to offer the opportunity for a full-time Senior Document Control Officer to join the Major Projects Integration team. This is a newly created position offering the opportunity to develop and implement best practice processes and set the highest of standards. Offered for an initial 6 months with the possibility of extension, you will have the opportunity to make the role your own. This role will cover a variety of work supporting the business unit by maintaining effective project control functions, contract management, and project planning. In this role, you will lead, oversee and provide document control services within Track & Civil Engineering, managing the development, implementation, and maintenance of industry best practice document management systems that ensure compliance with relevant Queensland Rail policies, standards, and specifications.
About you: Extensive knowledge of document management systemsSenior Document Controller experience in the rail, transport or construction industry would be desirable but not essentialA willingness to learnStrong interpersonal skillsExperience working with a range of internal and external stakeholders to produce outcomesBe a team player and enjoy working as part of a support teamExperience using BIM software would be highly desirableWhat you can bring to the role: High level of skill in coordinating and managing a document management systemExtensive knowledge of delivering document control and management services, with exposure to ProjectWise, TRIM or Team Binder preferredHigh level of skill in building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders of all levelsAbility to provide advice, guidance and leadership within a team environmentTo read the Position Description, click HERE.
