The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) implements the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), which is one of the biggest social reforms in the country since Medicare.
As an Agency, we support more than 600,000 participants with a significant and permanent disability, and the families and carers of those living with disability.
A new role awaitsWe are looking for a highly motivated and innovative marketing professional to join at the EL2 Director level within our Marketing Communications Branch.
The branch delivers strategic and impactful marketing, communication, and digital solutions, supported by market research and insights.
Where you can add valueThe EL2 Director of Marketing is accountable for delivering quality outcomes across the Marketing Communications functions of the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA).
The position is an important team leadership position within the NDIA and will have delegated authority and responsibility to resolve issues and risks across wide-ranging activities.
The Marketing Director leads the team to deliver strategic, innovative and inclusive campaigns, strategies and content that support the Agency's priorities and Scheme reforms.

You will have excellent communication and writing skills, the ability to work independently, and a passion for delivering high-quality work.
Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining meaningful relationships with external and internal stakeholders at all levels to drive positive business outcomes is pivotal to be successful in this role.

Currently, our team presence is in Geelong and Richmond - VIC, Adelaide - SA, and Brisbane - QLD.
Remote working arrangements may also be considered.
We intend to fill this role in an ongoing capacity; however, non-ongoing roles up to 12 months with the possibility of extension up to 2 years may be offered.
A merit pool will be established that may be used to fill similar positions (ongoing and non-ongoing) within the next 18 months.
Successful candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment National Police History check, Worker Screening check and/or Working with Children Check (where required) and provide evidence of Australian Citizenship.
