About The RoleWe have an exciting opportunity available for a Tail Claims Specialist – Workers Compensation and are ready to welcome a dynamic individual to our thriving workplace.As part of our diverse team based in NSW, you'll help make a positive difference to our injured Team Member's lives every day and feel great satisfaction knowing your talent and hard work has an important purpose.We're offering the best of both worlds with our hybrid work environment – strike the perfect balance between work at home and connection with team in the office.Reporting to the Claims Team Manager you'll be responsible for effectively managinga tail claims portfolio.You willPro-actively manage a portfolio of workers compensation claims in accordance with state laws and policies to support Injured Team Members with long term injuries , support treatment and recovery whilst ensuring they receive their correct entitlements and are aware of their rights and responsibilities.Determine ongoing liability on complex claimsFacilitate resolution of workers compensation claims with a strong focus on engagement between injured team members and treatment providers to bring about understanding, collaboration and continuous improvement in claims management.Co-ordinate and support services that support our injured team members achieve a return to workCo-ordinate and manage external service and health providers and gather information from stakeholders to effectively manage the claim and facilitate recovery.About You And Your SkillsTo be successful in this position you will need a strong understanding and experience in engaging and supporting customers in difficult situations.
Ideally you will have 2 years+ claims management experience in workers compensation; however, we will consider applicants with experience in other forms of insurance practice or transferrable skills and experience.You'll also need Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Experience and skill with Microsoft Office suite of products.Claims or Electronic Information Management systems experience.Take your next step into something bigger, apply nowWith us it's not about the discounts (although you do get those), it's about joining a team where your wellbeing and professional development is invested in and celebrating your contributions is the norm.
