Quality Assurance Specialist

**The location of the role is in: Leoben/Vienna**

**About the job**

As a QA Expert you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and improving testing strategies and plans for our raw materials and basic mixes. You will be working closely with Operations, R&D and Technical Marketing and will be expected to manage and support quality projects. In a post-Covid environment, you are ready to travel up to 30% of your time for this role.

**In addition, your tasks will include**
- Preparation and roll-out of relevant quality standards within the RHI Magnesita group
- Monitoring of raw material quality and management of non-conformities together with Operations and R&D
- Enforce the quality aspects in continuous improvement processes
- Analysis of relevant KPIs incl. highlights and lowlights, providing purchasing & plant support, as well as definition of corrective and preventive actions
- Implementation and monitoring of internal and external quality audits alongside complaint handling

**What we expect from you in terms of**

**Education**
- A university degree with a focus on material science, quality management or similar
- Statistics Knowledge
- Proficiency in MS Office, Power BI and ideally also SAP

**Languages**

German - Proficient/Fluent

English - Proficient/Fluent

**Work Experience**

3+ years of relevant working experience

Profound knowledge of the refractory industry

Your potential annual gross salary starts at € 65.000 on a full-time basis. We value your education, skills and experience and will make sure these are reflected accordingly in your final set salary
