As Strategy Manager Area you will be responsible to develop, implement and monitor long term growth strategy for Eastern Europe together with Regional Manager Area and Regional Managing Director. The main goal is to achieve growth of B&Rs customer base and hit sales’ targets by successfully managing and overseeing the above activities. In this role you make sure that regional goals and strategies are synchronized with the overall strategy of the Region Eastern Europe and profitability targets are achieved.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Guide and support the local sales teams in growing the business, winning top customers and supporting existing customers (e.g. preparing and participating in customer visits, preparing and giving presentations, preparing specific calculations for price-sensitive negotiations)
- Participate, coordinate and support major customer or target customer meetings by ensuring their perfect organization
- Independently handle internal inquiries from sales and coordinate between the corporate functions involved; be the link from local sales to headquarters
- Identify B&R’s current position in the area and identify growth potentials (including development of new sales channels), development and implementation of sales strategies in the area in close coordination with whole strategy team
- Assist with market and industry analysis to develop a strategic roadmap and market focus for your area and the region, support regional leadership in implementing and monitoring the strategy
- Monitor progress of product and its development in the relevant industries in headquarters, prepare and support the rollout of new products to your area
- Facilitate international cooperation (eg. customer related) activities and coordinate dedicated key accounting managers
- Ensure the success of the region achieving its profitability target
- Participation at trade fairs or events in the region as well as support for regional activities

**Your background**:

- Requires a minimum of a degree in engineering (preferable in electronics or mechatronics or equivalent discipline) and at least 5 years of relevant professional experience in similar role
- Experience in a sales or sales supporting function for technical products. Affinity for business and finance. Previous experience in industrial automation industry is an advantage.
- First class interpersonal skills adapt at building and motivating high performance teams, strong commercial acumen with strategic mindset, open and customer-oriented personality
- Experience in coordinating and motivating people. Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities. Customer oriented approach, intuitive and fast reacting.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize even under pressure
- Fluent in German, English and preferable an Eastern European language (eg. Czech, Slovakian, Polish).
- Confident in the use of MS Office. SAP knowledge is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel up to the 40%
