We are looking for a hands-on (junior) Environmental manager to join our factory in Bruck a/d Leitha. We are open for fresh graduates

It is a great time to join Bunge on the journey of change. We encourage you to come aboard and steer the wheel of all environmental vectors (such as waste, water, emissions, noise, energy) activity, while always ensuring compliance with laws, standards and diverse initiatives that make the activity risk-free and more respectful with the environment.

**What is the nature of the job?**:
We believe that it is our task to leave a healthier planet to next generation(s). Bunge is therefore crafting more responsible choices in our everyday work - choices that enable people to live a more sustainable life and consume fewer natural resources. Your role as our Environment Manager is to introduce sustainable environmental solutions and always ensure compliance with the laws and internal company standards.

Most importantly: you are a phenomenal connector who can easily build positive relationships with government departments, regulators and collaborators to promote Bunge’s interest. You have an ability to combine data reporting with a passion for environmental matters. In other words, various regulations and permits are not a taboo for you.

**Other responsibilities include**:
Providing specific skills and behaviors environmental training and coaching to the plant team;
Ensuring an efficient process by promoting and tracking proactive KPIs, to report and investigate accidents, incidents or potential environmental impact situations, supporting the investigations of the cases and following up on the actions taken;
Participating in audits of the environmental and sustainability system and taking derivative actions.

**Keys to finding an excellent job fit**:
**We are willing to invest our time and resources in your career development, but we need you to have previously acquired**:

- Educational background such as: Höhere Technische Lehranstalt, Bachelor Fachhochschule Technical Degree, Chemistry or environmental/graduate in chemical / environmental specialty;
- Proficiency in German and English is essential;
- Ideally familiarity with ISO and Sustainability systems;
- Residing in the Bruck a/d Leitha region and/or willing to move there.

**What We Offer**:
At Bunge, we believe in people who find new ways of doing things - people for whom environment, safety and sustainability are part of their professional skills. We are working hard to find the best solutions for our customers. Together, we bring food from where it’s produced to where it’s needed. We value and stimulate development through training, education and experience and offer effective/accredited tools and resources to support you in your journey.
