Business Process Owner for An Energy Supplier

**Your daily business will involve**:

- Assess the impact of business requirements or regulatory changes on the existing domain model and processes. Analyse existing data to inform your decisions
- Monitor changes in market communication (formats, processes) and manage the conversation and resolution of problems with external market partners (e.g. grid operators).
- Work alongside the software developers in your team in breaking down requirements into individual tasks and in writing acceptance criteria for them.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth daily operations and high data quality and customer satisfaction for all customer touchpoints.
- Collaborate with product management on specifying new features and optimizations in our invoicing and billing systems.

**Requirements**:

- You are conscientious, used to taking initiative over receiving directions, and can manage your time and focus.
- You are very strong in explaining complex topics in English, appropriately tailoring your delivery according to your audience.
- You actively search for opportunities to improve yourself, the working process, your team collaboration, and feedback mechanisms.
- You can reach our Vienna office within about 4 hours of travel time.
- Being able to read German documentation is a valuable plus since many terms of the AT & DE energy markets are in German.
- You have deep knowledge of the electricity market, its participant and processes from the supplier perspective in either Austria or Germany
- You have deep knowledge in the domain of invoicing and billing
- You are experienced with domain and business process modelling
- You are experienced with gathering insights from relational and time series data, e.g. using SQL, and assessing and dealing with data quality issues.
