The Department of Crop Sciences, Institute of Plant Protection at BOKU university is currently seeking a Postgraduate Research Associate (project employment)

**Responsibilities**:

- microscopic examinations and disease assessment in the field
- inoculation experiments in the laboratory and in the field
- collaboration in developing forecast models
- co-supervision of students
- writing of scientific papers
- participation on national or international conferences
- collaboration in the writing of project reports
- obtaining a doctorate is desired

Required skills and qualifications
- Diploma degree in Crop Sciences and Phytomedicine or other equivalent university degree
- Language skills: German (fluently) and English
- in-deth knowledge about applied topics in plant protection
- driving licence (B)
- readiness in cooperation

Gross monthly salary and pay grade in terms of collective agreement for university staff (payable 14 times per year): B1, € 2.294,00
