Postgraduate Research Associate

The Centre for Global Change and Sustainability at BOKU University is currently seeking a Postgraduate Research Associate (temporary replacement).
The profile of the position includes active promotion of the process of implementation of the BOKU-Sustainability Strategy, particularly in the thematic field of climate neutrality and calculation of greenhouse gas balances; this has to be conducted in close cooperation with our Competence Group for Climate Neutrality. Other tasks include the coordination and organisation of working group meetings, workshops, etc.
Required skills and qualifications
- Diploma degree in Environmental and Bioresource Management or other equivalent university degree
- Very good knowledge of German and English
Desired skills and qualifications
- Proven relevant expertise in the areas of climate neutrality strategy, Co2 compensation and greenhouse gas accounting
- Knowledge of the organizational structure of BOKU
Gross monthly salary and pay grade in terms of collective agreement for university staff (payable 14 times per year): B1, € 382,30
