The research program at TTE advances the understanding of animal nutrition, livestock product quality and nutrition physiology and addresses regional and global issues, which animal industries face today, involving fundamental and applied research.

The appointment for the PhD position includes research and teaching both undergraduate and graduate nutrition courses (2 SWS). The position holder is expected to be active scholar, to develop refereed publications, to discover and develop new techniques to benefit animals and agriculture, and to participate in institute organizational committees. Participation in a doctoral programme is possible.

**Qualifications**:
Gross monthly salary and pay grade in terms of collective agreement for university staff (payable 14 times per year): B1, € 2.294,00
