You are going to be responsible for leading the Vienna R&D team (including Mechanical Design,
Electronics & Software Development) and will lead the team with a relentless focus on driving

**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**
- You will build and lead a high-performing R&D team to drive faster innovation in line with our roadmap to achieve aggressive growth targets and create excitement with our customers
- You will manage capacities and resources for different projects and product development and R&D budget based on resources and projects
- You will provide strategic direction for product development in cooperation with the relevant BU Product Managers and business leads being responsible in conducting the resource, timeline, and cost estimates to allow for a detailed decision taking
- You will drive innovation and new technologies for new products and production processes
- You will oversee project planning and execution for the projects managed by the project management team (from project initiation through manufacturing transfer)
- You will ensure compliance to all applicable regulations via the Quality Management System in alignment with all processes associated
- You will serve as a point of contact and as the interface between the project stakeholders and handle escalation as needed

**YOUR PROFILE**
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Physics or in a technical field
- Several experience in leading an R&D team
- Possess a good track record in managing complex, cross-functional R&D projects (delivered on time, meeting product requirements and cost target)
- Good working knowledge of product design (mechanical / electronics / software) is essential
- Strong experience in Product Management, Project Management & Lean Tools
- You have advanced knowledge of MS tools including MS projects and excel
- Fluent German and English, in written and in spoken
