To strengthen our motivated **Central Procurement Packaging Team **at our headquarters in **Vienna, Austria **or our site in **Heidenheim, Germany **, we are looking for a **Senior Procurement Manager (M/F/d) **.

**Your Role**:

- You manage and lead procurement activities for the virgin fiber category, negotiating business with suppliers and implementing actions to improve operational performance
- You support packaging plants in implementing various projects related to virgin fiber board, also travelling to suppliers and production sites if required
- You influence and drive change management for the business, engaging with relevant departments and stakeholders to define opportunities and execute benefits
- You ensure adherence to specific procurement documentation and policies, reviewing gaps in supplier governance and develop action plans to address the situation, including KYS, supplier contracts and contract management
- You gather accurate data to base core decisions on and deliver accurate reporting and judgement
- You manage and develop the category with an emphasis on continuous improvement methodology, accountable for project success and reporting progress and performance against defined goals
- You promote the role, emphasizing that this is both an integral and important commodity within MMP

**Your Profile**:

- You have a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field
- You have already gained minimum 5 years of experience in a comparable position and like to work in an international and fast-pacing environment
- Experience in the folding carton industry and/or board and paper market is a plus
- You communicate fluently in written and spoken English (C1+), other languages will be an advantage
- You have excellent MS-Office skills, especially in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and PowerBI
- You are willing to travel for 25% of the time within Europe

For this position, an annual compensation package starting at € 85.000 **;
