Vestas' Global Service business was spun out as a separate business unit during 2014 due to the growing commercial and strategic significance of the service business. With our corporate strategy "Profitable Growth for Vestas" we have communicated specific, ambitious growth targets for service in coming three years. To achieve such targets while keeping our cost base steady requires a fundamental shift in how we operate - commercially as well as operationally.

The Global Service LEAN team is responsible for driving further our Service Business' continuous improvement and execution excellence culture. We drive the process for Strategy Deployment, work on establishing global concepts, and execute breakthrough improvements based on world class methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma.

As a Service Lean Professional EEA will be part of a Lean professionals in different geographical regions who will work constantly on increasing the Operational Excellence maturity of the Service business.
While having keeping high Safety and Quality standards, you will engage with colleagues and stakeholders globally to support the implementation of our Service Lean roadmap.

**Responsibilities**
- Reduce operational costs through implementation of Operational Excellence Projects
- Work with technicians in the field and Service management to capture lessons learned for Operational Readiness
- Facilitate and coordinate field studies to define Best Practices, Standard Work and Cost-out potential
- Manage Field feedback on Technical opportunities and work sequences
- Translate data into relevant actions for colleagues in the field
- Facilitate and share of Best Practices within your region

**Qualifications**
- Academic degree at Bachelor level or higher or other relevant work experience from the service in the wind business
- Ideally 3 years of Lean experience or technical experience that can be used to improve our service operations
- Certification, experience or education in continuous improvement disciplines
- Good written/verbal presentation and communication skills in English, plus the main language in the country/region you will work with

- Able to follow up in different countries (or areas within a country)

**Additional information**
