Together, we’ll reinvent essentials for sustainable living, foster growth, and have a lasting impact on the generations to come. **Your tasks** - Develop and execute identified Upstream and Low Carbon Energy Acquisition, Divestment and Investment opportunities, from the project initiation stage, through evaluation, maturation, negotiation and delivery to integration. - Work with external technical, commercial and financial advisors to high grade the opportunity pipeline and once in Due Diligence, refine the opportunity evaluations. - Steer complex multi-functional BD project team-members to deliver high quality evaluations, risk assessments, decision recommendations and negotiations to support execution of OMV’s BD strategy. - Lead the set-up of appropriate unincorporated and incorporated joint ventures, joint operations and other potential project partnerships as required to advance OMV Energy strategy. - Develop robust strategic rationale and compelling investment support arguments, evidence, narratives and material to build the necessary coalition of support to capture BD opportunities. - Prepare BD project decision gates including required reviews, pre-alignments and decision assurance steps. **Your profile** - University Degree Master/Diploma in Commercial, Subsurface, or Engineering discipline. - Minimum of 15 years of professional experience, with a strong focus on business development in the energy sector. - Expertise in discounted cash flow analysis, financial modeling and interrogating key inputs and assumpions - Proven negotiation skills with a track record of closing complex deals. - Strong leadership abilities, including experience managing and motivating cross-functional teams without authority. - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders. **What to expect from OMV** - At OMV, we are committed to fostering an environment where every individual is given equal opportunities for career advancement.
