We are currently looking for an analytical, self-organized and food-enthusiastic person who wants to join our Global Market & Consumer Insights (MCI) Team in Vienna, Austria for the following position as
Global Market & Consumer Insights Expert (M/F/d)
Purpose of the job:
Our new team member will work alongside our Global Market & Consumer Insights Manager in diverse projects and be responsible to analyze data, prepare reports and visually attractive presentations. Together they have the mandate to transform external data about markets and consumers into actionable insights for the company by acting as trusted consultant for various departments incl. senior management. The responsibility of this job includes both to update and improve existing reports and processes, but also to create new tools and materials.
Your tasks:
- Being responsible to conduct quantitative and qualitative research covering different aspects of the food industry including markets, competitors, customers, product categories, trends and consumers
- Prepare reports and visually attractive presentations with the findings of the research
- Regularly update and improve existing reports and processes
- Screen for the latest food trends and innovations online and offline incl. the startup landscape
- Contribute to consumer research projects (selection of methodology, definition of target group and surveys, analysis and interpretation of results, develop recommendations for action plans based on results)
- Active cooperation and communication with various internal departments around the globe as well as cooperation with external data providers and research agencies
- You execute the AGRANA Fruit market & consumer insights strategy and support your superior in various strategy-related projects and tasks
Your profile:
- Educational background in economics/business administration or food-related studies
- 1-2 years of experience in marketing, particularly market and/or consumer research - ideally within the food industry
- Proficiency with data analysis & visualization incl. creativity for generating presentations and other customer-related material based on data
- Substantial interest for food trends and developments is a must (you would most likely describe yourself as a “foodie”)
- Highly analytical, innovative and forward-thinking personality
- Accurate and structured way of working
- Strong communication skills, especially in terms of intercultural exchange and interface management
- MS Office proficiency, especially Excel skills for analysis and reports and Power Point for visually attractive presentations, any other data analysis and visualization software skills are a plus
- Excellent level of English and German is a prerequisite. Any other languages are an advantage

- Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is € 2.261,51 gross per year. However, our compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries.
