Nature and aim of the position

The main responsibilities of a holder of this position is day to day finance and accounts operations, ensure accurate timely monthly, quarterly and year end closing, collaborates with the other finance departments to support overall department goals and objectives.

Main duties and responsibilities
- General ledger bookings, maintaining of supporting documentation for 1 Austrian entity
- Bank accounts booking, documentation and reconciliation
- Reconciliation on internal systems (MNA vs Exact) and reconciliation of inventory transactions
- Monthly reconciliation of other assigned general ledger accounts
- Month end closing tasks
- Support with VAT
- Administrative support to management
- Monthly reconciliations and checks following Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
- Other finance related tasks based on ad-hoc organizational needs

Reporting and collaboration

Financial Accountant reports to the Team-Lead and for some tasks directly to the Accounting Manager.

The position requires collaboration within the accounting team, controllers/analysts, AP and AR teams, external consultants (auditors), external contractors.

Profile and education
- Bachelor’s degree or HAK, Wifi Buchhalter in the area of Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 3 years of practical experience in accounting
- Strong exposure to Accounting and Finance concepts, combined with an understanding of financial systems/accounting processes to ensure delivery of timely and accurate results
- English proficiency, German min B1
- Very good MS-Office skills, especially Excel
- Experience in an international environment or SSC
