Tasks
As Technical AI Project Coordinator (M/F/x), you'll help companies on their AI journey.
**Your tasks as Technical AI Project Coordinator (M/F/x)**:

- Project coordination and management for AI projects: Plan, execute, and oversee AI projects, including timelines, milestones, and resources.
- Collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders: Work closely with clients, internal teams, and other partners to clearly define and achieve project goals.
- Expectation Management: Manage customer expectations based on technical possibilities and the current state of the art in close collaboration with the delivery team.
- Evaluation and optimization of AI and RAG systems: Assess the functionality and effectiveness of RAG systems and machine learning models, ensuring they operate accurately and efficiently, including manual testing to evaluate response quality.
- Definition and validation of acceptance criteria: Define acceptance criteria with clients, conduct tests and analyses to verify that RAG systems and models meet these criteria, and document and present the results.
- Technical documentation and reporting: Ensure clear documentation of projects, technical requirements, and outcomes.

- Support in model training**: Collaborate with data scientists and engineers in the development, adjustment, and fine-tuning of machine learning models.

- Support in deployment and data integration**: Assist in the implementation of models and AI solutions into clients' existing infrastructure, including data integration and backend configuration.
- Support and troubleshooting: Provide assistance in solving issues that arise during the project, particularly regarding the integration of technical solutions.

**What you should bring**:
**Must**:

- Experience in project management: At least 2-3 years of experience in coordinating or leading technical projects, ideally in AI or software development environments.
- Technical understanding: Experience or strong knowledge in AI, machine learning, model training, AI API utilization and the integration of AI solutions into business processes.
- Strong communication skills: Ability to clearly communicate technical and non-technical requirements and coordinate with clients and internal teams.
- Solution-oriented mindset: Analytical skills to quickly identify technical challenges and find appropriate solutions.
- Team player with independent working style: High level of initiative and ability to work both independently and in a team.
- Language skills: Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken.

**Optional**:

- Understanding of RAG systems: Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems or Large Language Models (LLMs) is advantageous.
- Knowledge in data management and integration: Experience with integrating data sources and working with databases (SQL/NoSQL). Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL is a plus.
- Experience in development and API integration: Proficiency in backend development (e.g., Python, FastAPI) and API integration, particularly for AI models like OpenAI and LLAMA-3.1 is advantageous.
- Experience with data science tools and frameworks: Familiarity with common data science and machine learning frameworks like Numpy, Pandas, and TensorFlow. Ideally, experience in training and optimizing models with these tools.
- Experience with CI/CD processes: Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools like GitLab, Jenkins, or similar.
- Experience with testing: Ideally, testing of AI-based systems (e.g., model validation, RAG systems), or alternatively, software systems.

- Knowledge in AI model optimization: Experience in optimizing and fine-tuning machine learning models to improve accuracy and performance.
