**About the job**

Are you a procurement professional with an affinity for sustainability? Or are you a sustainability expert, wanting to enter the field of procurement? Look no further - we are searching for a Procurement & Sustainability Expert to combine the best of these two fields: On the one hand, you will manage several raw materials groups, delivering a professional category management. On the other hand, you will co-develop our sustainable procurement strategy and drive its implementation. Reporting to the Head of Direct Procurement, Resale & Energy Europe, you will be part of a team of dedicated experts and collaborate with internal stakeholders such as SCM, QA and R&D. This position allows you to play an active part in shaping our procurement to become more sustainable, contributing also to our company’s sustainability targets like reducing CO2 emissions and increasing recycling shares.

**In addition, your tasks will include**
- Tendering as well as conducting negotiations and supplier talks
- Managing contracts and preparing purchase orders and contracts
- Conducting market studies to identify trends and opportunities in procurement
- Supporting the entire regional procurement team in identifying and implementing sustainability initiatives
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of the Source-to-Pay process

**What we expect from you in terms of**

**Education & Skills**
- First experience in procurement & affinity for sustainability OR sustainability expertise & wish to enter the field of procurement
- Experience in an industry/production setting would be an asset

**Languages**
- English - Proficient/Fluent
- German - Advanced
- Any other language is considered as an asset

**Work Experience**
- A few years of relevant professional experience

The annual gross salary for this position will start from € 55.000,00 on a full-time basis, depending on your qualification and experience, as well as the amount of overtime and your level of seniority.
