BILLA/Penny Central and Eastern Europe/Italy is part of the REWE International organization and manages REWE's supermarket and discount business in Bulgaria, Lithuania, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Croatia and Italy with around 2.100 stores and over 24.000 employees. As a member of our accounting team, you will contribute significantly to the success of our international stores.

**YOUR TASKS - AS DIVERSE AS OUR GROUP**:

- Support in the implementation of accounting group requirements
- Participation in projects (e.g. IFRS 16, SAP S / 4 Hana, various other accounting related IT projects)
- Assistance in the preparation of the annual financial statements according to IFRS
- Intensive contact with the Head of Accounting Coordination and members of the team as well as close cooperation with other company areas and participation in regular, international meetings and conferences
- Support during country visits
- Design of accounting workflows as well as ongoing analysis and optimization thereof
- Development of solution concepts for the required support based on business unit requirements
- Information hub and coordination between all involved strategic business units on the topic of accounting in the international area
- Participation in training courses and further education programs

**YOUR PROFILE - AS STRONG AS OUR BRANDS**:

- Completed studies in economics with a focus on accounting or controlling
- At least 5-8 years of relevant work experience
- Experience in year-end closing procedures according to IFRS
- Knowledge of project and process management
- Excellent English language skills, good German language skills, Easter-European language is of advantage
- Very good MS Office skills (especially MS Excel) and very good SAP knowledge
- Social competence and communication skills as well as commitment and service orientation
- Open-mindedness, intercultural skills and high customer orientation
- Solution-oriented work approach and willingness to travel
