Event Marketing Specialist

In this brand-new position within our Promotion & Digital Marketing team, you will join us in designing, planning and executing amazing online and offline events. You will be responsible for the attendance and organization of industry events that have a tangible and visible impact on our business results.
**In more detail, you will**:
- Organize our attendance at crucial global industry events; from sponsorships to custom-designed booths.
- Organize/Host webinars and online events with value for our (potential) customers.
- Manage the global event calendar of Borealis, in alignment with other event and marketing colleagues on our team.
- Collaborate closely with our Marketing and Sales community (~100 people) who participate and contribute to events.
- Guide industry clusters to define event goals and objectives and be responsible for developing online and offline promotional strategies to drive event traffic and success.
- Oversee and administer 3rd party contracts and coordinate with external parties organizing the events.
- Review event performance and develop metrics on ROI - identify successes and possible improvements.
- Manage budgets for events and ensure budget requirements are met.
**About you**:
- You have a university degree (ideally in Communication, Marketing or Event Management).
- Several years of relevant experience working in an international and/or corporate environment.
- You are passionate about event management and have an interest in the latest trends in digital marketing.
- You are a strategic thinker with good understanding of digital solutions, as well as a resolute and confident team player.
- Excellent English skills round out your profile.

We offer a competitive compensation based on the collective labour agreement, reflecting your competencies and experience, starting at EUR 69.200 annual gross salary and are willing to pay more based on your experience and background. In addition, we offer a yearly bonus and a voluntary company pension plan.
