Wien, Österreich Canonical - Jobs Vollzeit

Canonical and Ubuntu are at the forefront of cloud and IoT computing, helping customers master the challenge of operations on hybrid cloud, bare metal, and container-based systems. We're recruiting people that love Linux, automation, operations, and are interested in cracking some of the world's toughest problems at scale.

With 750 professionals across 55 countries our goal is to be the world's best, not biggest, global software company. Fully remote from day one, Canonical sets the pace on the 21st-century digital workplace, with entirely remote design, development and operations.

**Role Summary**

We only recruit the world's best talent and, with the volume we are recruiting, you will need to be a world-class recruitment specialist in the Engineering space. You will be accountable to coach and develop engineering hiring leads to ensure we grow at pace, without compromising on quality.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Build key relationships with global Engineering stakeholders, understand their needs and deliver commercial and creative sourcing plans to match our high growth hiring plans.
- Develop and evaluate the most effective sourcing methods to ensure Canonical stays ahead of the curve, in hiring the best possible engineering talent around the globe.
- Conduct behavioural HR interviews with pipeline talent, and provide information on onboarding in a remote first organisation.
- Review and streamline internal processes and tools - embrace lean operations and drive continuous improvement.
- Work with external third parties (agencies and talent partners) to ensure we maximise our return on investment.
- Drive recruitment analytics to provide our business with real-time insight, partnering with the business to help them move through their hiring processes.
- Have a passion for diversity and inclusion, ensuring we remove unconscious bias from our hiring process and ensuring our sourcing strategy underpins this.
- Manage a Recruitment Coordinator and work closely to support the business.

**Required Skills and Experience**
- In-house Talent Acquisition/Recruitment experience (Engineering - Python, Go, Java) from the technology sector (it is essential you can demonstrate experience of working in an HR function with either regional or global reach).
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and be seen as a trusted hiring partner to the business, as well as challenge the status quo.
- Experienced working in a data driven organisation where you are able to use metrics to fuel decision making and influence positive change.
- Successful track record of managing projects alongside BAU hiring agendas.
- Experience of competency based interviewing with the ability to train stakeholders and advise on how to get the best out of an interview.
- Excellent verbal and written English.
- Working knowledge of ATS tools (Greenhouse preferred) and Linked In Recruiter/Talent Solutions.
- Experience of psychometric assessments would be advantageous (we use Thomas International).
