**Purpose of the role**
The Team Leader Business Process Specialist is responsible for actively managing the team of BPS within the NITRO organization and a dedicated Business Process Specialists Team, ensuring effective communication within the whole company. Together with her/his team members she/he is responsible for SAP related business process landscape in the NITRO organization. She/he improves business process effectiveness and efficiency by developing and implementing optimized to-be processes with a focus on internal and external stakeholder needs.
The TL Business Process Specialist reports to the Head of IT SAP and works closely with respective Line Management, Process Owners/Drivers, Group Quality, IT and Internal Audit to ensure best practice sharing across the company.

**Main contribution and responsibilities**
***Department management
- Leads a team of BPS located in different international locations
- Capability of managing international networks
- Recognized as an expert with ability to work in smaller and larger networks consisting of senior professionals; also, for having excellent people, coaching and training skills and for fostering a winning team culture
- Ensures that the Business Process Specialists are recruited, coached, developed and motivated to achieve the objectives given by NITRO stakeholder and IT improvements; act as a focused team leader to assure continuous development towards a High Performing Organisation and meet the current and anticipated business needs
- Sets standards for BPSs in the responsible area in alignment with NITRO procedures.
Design and implementation of innovation processes
- Specifies business process requirements for IT organization
- Defines process improvement targets with the Process Owner/Driver
- Drives the (re-)design of processes
- Implements and reviews principles, standards and methods for Borealis business process management.
- Drives innovation - provides relevant benchmarking info / new trends and best practice input from the market by attending relevant seminars
- Ensures that changes in the business process are managed, controlled and standardised
- Evaluates materialization of the initial business case of business process projects, and analyses/transfers lessons learned to stakeholders

**What is required from you**
- Leads and supports the translation of the business strategy-plans into business process requirements and guarantees an aligned way of working throughout the NITRO organization.
- Develops common frame for cross-functional business process management to achieve strategic objectives, manages and resolves business process interfaces and integration issues.
- Monitors business process performance, owns and manages the consistent overview (process map, maturity levels) of the business processes in the assigned area.
- Challenges Process Owners/Drivers with deliverables of well-established processes. Monitors high quality on all relevant master data
- Drives and develops Key User network from a business process perspective (process training)
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Business process requirement definition
- SAP process knowledge
- 5 -7 years work experience in an international matrix organisation
- Knowledge of agile manifesto and waterfall project management
- Fluency (reading, writing and speaking) in English
- Analytical, conceptual, process and customer (internal and external) oriented thinking
- Ability to deal with ambiguity
