Privacy Counsel

Tricentis is looking for a Privacy Counsel, EMEA to join its growing global legal team for a 12 months contract

Responsibilities- Negotiate data protection agreements and data privacy-related provisions of sales contracts with special focus on customers located in Europe, Middle East and Africa- Complete privacy-related due diligence on vendors and negotiate data protection agreements and data privacy-related provisions of procurement contracts- Run data protection impact assessments (DPIAs), legitimate interest assessments, and other assessments necessary to identify and address potential risks and ensure compliance with relevant regulations- Serve as escalation point for privacy and data protection matters globally with specific focus on Europe, Middle East and Africa- Review, develop and maintain applicable policies and standards and work as part of a cross-functional team to implement and mature privacy and data protection program- Support ISO 27701 certification and data privacy framework program registration- Respond to internal and external queries and requests related to data privacy matters-
- Perform privacy related due diligence in acquisitions as needed- Research and track global privacy and security legislation, evolving regulations and enforcement with view to translating into actionable guidance

**Qualifications**:
- Experience in the field of at least 2 years- Self-motivated with proven ability to meet deadlines, prioritize and multi-task in dynamic, fast-paced work environment- Excellent communication skills- Business-minded and adept at identifying, understanding and troubleshooting commercial and operational issues- Customer-service oriented- Exceptional contract drafting, interpretation and negotiation skills- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills- Results-oriented, resourceful and able to problem-solve- Adapts well to change

We are under legal obligation in Austria to indicate the minimum salary, which is EUR 58.800;
- gross per year for this position according to the IT collective agreement. However, our attractive compensation packages follow current market salaries and can therefore be significantly above the indicated minimum salary.
