The Controller Financial Planning & Analysis will be a member of the FP&A Team taking ownership of key processes e.g. the midterm planning and forecasting process (MTP, FCT) of Borealis Group. They will also prepare communication material for the Executive and Supervisory Board and the Senior Management under the guidance of the Head of FP&A. The role holder will also support the analysis of the group financial results and advise senior management in the decision-making process by highlighting concerns and opportunities on assigned topics.

**As a Controller Financial Planning & Analysis, you will**:

- Manage the annual Borealis business plan (midterm plan) and forecasting process (MTP, FCT) including planning, coordinating, executing and documenting the respective group process.
- Review and challenge the input received from the Borealis business groups and execute the consolidation of the Borealis group business plan, and FCT.
- Summarize results and provide presentation material to support the Head of FP&A, Vice-President Group Controlling, CFO and the Executive Board in decision-making on group plans and forecasts.
- Support continuous improvement of the planning and forecasting process of the Borealis group.
- Analyse communication material related to financial results, the business plan, and forecasts.
- Carry controlling responsibility for central functions.
- Provide ad-hoc support to Group Controlling/CFO/CEO (e.g. regarding M&A or strategic projects)

**About you**:

- A master’s degree in finance, accounting, or economics and / or 10+ years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated business partner with strong business acumen (MBA is a plus)
- Expertise in forecasting, planning and validation of initiative / program benefits and reconciliation with P&L
- Advanced data analytics, data modelling, transformation and data visualization capabilities
- Structured and precise work style
- Demonstrated skills in leading indirect team members
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
