We're looking for an enthusiastic Chief of Staff to join our team This is a role for someone who thrives on challenges, loves diving into complex problems, and takes ownership of strategic decisions that drive the company forward. WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Partner with the CEO and Executive Assistant as part of the CEO team, actively participating in C-Level meetings.
  • Support the C-level with strategic decisions and take ownership of key operational areas.
  • Drive operational efficiency by optimizing processes, tools, and company-wide workflows.
  • Lead the OKR process, performance measurement, and contribution scoring for clarity and accountability across teams.
  • Collaborate with Team Leads and People & Culture on hiring plans, organizational design, and team growth.
  • Set and enforce company-wide rules and standards in partnership with People & Culture (e.g., policies, compliance).
  • Resolve organizational and process challenges, taking interim leadership when needed to achieve team and company goals.
  • Translate strategic initiatives into actionable plans and ensure delivery.

YOUR SKILLS

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in similar roles or in strategic consulting at top-tier firms like McKinsey, BCG, or equivalent, with proven strength in problem-solving and strategic execution.
  • Strong background in process implementation and optimization, including IT systems.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with a high affinity for numbers, KPIs, and structured decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership abilities, able to bridge silos and foster collaboration across departments.
  • Hands-on, pragmatic, and adaptable to a fast-changing environment.
  • Strong interest in IT and AI tools that enhance work efficiency.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and deliver results under pressure.
  • A natural trusted advisor and thought partner, combining strategic thinking with empathy and discretion.
  • You are able to relocate to / are based in Vienna – the world's most liveable city

NICE TO HAVE (BUT NOT REQUIRED)

  • Previous startup or scale-up experience, ideally in a fast-paced international environment.
  • Familiarity with organizational design, HR, and team growth planning.
  • Experience in productivity tooling and scaling tech-enabled processes.
  • Experience handling high-level office and operational topics, such as office expansion projects.
  • Exposure to fundraising processes or investor relations.
