Your Role

As a Project Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring the financial and operational success of our R&D and innovation projects. You'll collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and leadership to manage budgets, monitor progress, and deliver meaningful insights for strategic decision-making across multiple ongoing initiatives.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage and Monitor budgets, costs, and milestones across R&D and operational project
  • Conduct cost analyses, forecasts, and variance reports to drive decisions
  • Support funding and reporting for national EU research programs
  • Help optimize controlling tools and processes and implement new digital solutions
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure efficiency and transparency
  • Actively support other financial areas when needed

Your Profile

  • Completed higher commercial education or university degree, ideally with a focus on controlling or finance
  • Strong analytical thinking and structured, solution-oriented approach
  • Excellent Englisch and German skills, both written and spoken
  • Confident use of MS Office, especially Excel, for data-driven project evaluations
  • High communication skills and the ability to explain complex topics clearly
  • Strong team spirit combined with initiative and proactive mindset
  • Experience in project controlling, ideally within R&D, technology, or innovation environments and EU-Funding
  • Proficient in ERP and reporting systems

The minimum gross salary for this position is € 3,069.98 per month (full-time basis) as defined by the collective agreement. Depending on your qualifications and experience, we are open to offering a market-based overpayment.
