Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Welcome and greet guests as they enter the restaurant, providing a warm and friendly atmosphere. Manage dining reservations and ensure smooth operations. Coordinate with the front of house team to effectively manage waitlists and seating arrangements. Provide detailed explanations and recommendations regarding the menu offerings. Utilise knowledge of food and beverages to answer any guest inquiries accurately. Coordinate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure orders are delivered promptly and meet guests' preferences. Anticipate guest needs and promptly resolve any issues or complaints to ensure a memorable dining experience. Maintain a clean and organised workspace. Must haves: Minimum 1 year experience in a high-quality restaurant or hospitality environment, specifically à la carte; managing multiple tables, carrying multiple plates. Solid understanding of customer service principles and practices. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Professional appearance and demeanor. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure. Flexibility over a 7‑day roster; ability to work early mornings and weekends. NO night work.
