Quality Improvement Lead – Educational Leader About the role KingKids is seeking an experienced and passionate Quality Improvement Lead to work across our Narre Warren and Dandenong services. In this full‑time role, you will be responsible for leading the continuous improvement of our early learning programs and supporting our educators to deliver high‑quality educational outcomes for the children in our care. This exciting position has evolved from critical reflection of the educational leader role and feedback from a dedicated team. The Quality Improvement Lead fulfils the pivotal role of educational leader as well as supporting aspects of compliance. The Quality Improvement Lead role is not included in educator to child ratios to enable them to observe practice and effectively mentor teams. You will be the Quality Improvement Lead at two services, working within each service for two days per week and utilising one day for administration tasks and opportunities for reflections and forward thinking. Whilst the role involves providing effective leadership to our Narre Warren and Dandenong services, we are committed to promoting a professional learning community and therefore expect that meaningful collaboration will occur across all of our six services. What you’ll be doing Providing educational leadership and mentoring to our team of educators Leading a team through change and quality improvement Implementing and reviewing educational programs to ensure they are engaging, developmentally appropriate and aligned with the National Quality Framework and the Child Safe Standards Collaborating with the Centre Manager to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective quality assurance processes Supporting the professional development of educators and driving a culture of continuous learning Maintaining strong relationships with families and promoting effective communication Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and legislation What we’re looking for Bachelor qualified or experienced Diploma qualified (5 years experience in Early Childhood leadership roles) A passionate and innovative person who leads with kindness and integrity Extensive experience in an Educational Leader or Quality Improvement role within the early childhood education sector Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of educators A person who can observe and identify practices that can be improved to become exceeding practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with families Thorough understanding of the National Quality Framework and a commitment to delivering high‑quality educational programs Strong problem‑solving and critical thinking skills Passion for early childhood education and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of young children What we offer Competitive remuneration and opportunities for career progression Ongoing professional development and training A collaborative and inclusive team culture Mid‑year party and Christmas party Up to 90 % off childcare fees Employee Assistance Program (EAP) About us KingKids ELC & Kindergarten is a leading provider of early childhood education and care services in the East and South East of Melbourne.
