Alltype Engineering is a leading Western Australian engineering, construction and maintenance contractor delivering high-quality solutions across industrial, resources, energy and infrastructure sectors. We are now seeking an experienced and highly connected Business Development Manager to help drive our next phase of growth. About the Role Reporting directly to the Managing Director , the Business Development Manager is responsible for securing a strong and sustainable pipeline of work that supports Alltype Engineering’s revenue targets and strategic direction. This is a key commercial role suited to a candidate with deep industry networks, strong commercial acumen, and proven experience identifying and converting business opportunities across construction, industrial services, fabrication, or related sectors. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain an ongoing and viable revenue pipeline aligned to company growth targets. Build strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, industry partners and influencers. Conduct ongoing market research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities. Represent Alltype Engineering at events, industry forums, conferences and networking functions. Proactively source, qualify and convert business leads across multiple sectors. Manage and coordinate the preparation of EOIs, proposals, tenders and submissions. Collaborate closely with internal technical, commercial and leadership teams to ensure accuracy, compliance and quality of submissions. Maintain regular communication with existing clients to ensure satisfaction, identify upcoming projects and strengthen long‑term partnerships. Track and follow up on proposals, gather feedback, and contribute to continuous improvement. Identify potential acquisition or expansion opportunities aligned with the company strategy. About You To be successful in this role, you will have: 5+ years’ successful experience in business development within industrial supply, services, fabrication, engineering, or construction. A strong industry reputation and proven ability to leverage networks effectively. Demonstrated success in securing revenue, pipeline growth and developing long‑term relationships. Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills. High levels of integrity, professionalism and alignment with Alltype’s values. Ability to work both in office environments and attend sites, events and customer meetings as required.
