Divers Tavern is an iconic, progressive tavern located at the beautiful Cable Beach in Broome, WA . It offers a family-friendly bistro, sports bar and live entertainment venue. We are seeking a talented and driven Sous Chef to coordinate meals in our busy venue. Number of positions: 1 Location: Broome, Western Australia. Type: Full-time. Flexible roster. Days can be negotiated. Salary: Above Award. To be negotiated based on skills and experience. Duties: Work with the kitchen staff team. Comply with quality control. Provide support with product inventory, storage and deliveries. Work with Head Chef in menu development. Follow all food safety and hygiene compliance procedures. Deliver consistently high standards of food delivery. Qualifications: A relevant industry qualification and/or at least 1 year of experience. The ability to work days, nights, weekends & public holidays. Knowledge of food safety, allergens, and hygiene standards. Passionate about cooking and delivering quality fresh food. Good working knowledge of current food trends. A mature, responsible and proactive attitude. Current Food Safety Handling Certificate. Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a hotel/pub. Culinary innovation. Proficiency in different cooking techniques.
