Principal Advisor, Learning and Organisational Development

You will lead the design, development and delivery of contemporary organisational learning and development initiatives, including management system deployment to the National Injury Insurance Agency, Queensland (NIISQ Agency), Motor Accident Insurance Commission (MAIC) and Nominal Defendant (ND) (collectively referred to as the Motor Accident Insurance Schemes Queensland or MAIS-Q). The employing entity for this role is NIISQ Agency. Your role Provide authoritative and timely specialist advice and actions that drives the development and implementation of best-practice learning and organisational development strategies and initiatives including cultural lifts that meet the agency needs now and into the future. Lead the identification and preparation of current and future capability requirements by researching and analysing emerging workforce trends, conducting needs analysis, designing and implementing fit-for-purpose solutions. Provide authoritative and timely specialist advice and actions that build organisational capability and sustainability through the formation and execution of bespoke learning and development frameworks, learning management/delivery systems, a range of tools and the delivery of training programs that align to individual performance planning, line manager expertise and knowledge exchange. Influence, collaborate and support matters relating to organisational capability and capacity including provision of technical training programs and professional development to improve performance, staff retention and succession planning at each level. Represent MAISQ interests at meetings and forums, effective engagement with shared service and other providers, ensuring whole-of-Government commitments and improving the workforce indicators such as those in the annual Working for Queensland survey. About You To be successful in this role you will demonstrate a strong commitment to shared values, and a broad skillset that includes: Extensive experience designing, developing and deploying learning management, succession planning and delivery, organisational development and cultural capability programs with contemporary evaluation frameworks. Experience in training needs analysis, individual assessments with contemporary knowledge of training offerings including mentoring and coaching programs with a personal drive for continuous improvement and innovative practices and concepts. Strong communication in a multi-disciplinary team environment. High level organisational abilities to provide efficient and high- quality service outputs in a dynamic environment. Collaborative, autonomous and agile working style and approach.
