Program Director, Grants Management Transformation Salary range: $192,015 - $214,082 (pro rata) plus super and salary packaging up to $15,900. Maximum term: up to 2.5 years. Hybrid WFH & office model. Talent International partners with Victoria Legal Aid to appoint an accomplished Program Director to drive a multi‑year initiative to modernise and simplify the organisation's grants management approach – a whole‑of‑business reform programme that will reshape systems, processes, and culture. In this pivotal leadership role, you will be responsible for the end‑to‑end delivery of a complex transformation programme that places clients at the centre. You will lead the design and implementation of new operating models, including technology platforms, data integrations, lean and streamlined business processes, and behavioural changes that deliver better outcomes, improve efficiency, and enhance transparency. As the Program Director, You Will Lead a high‑performing programme office and oversee programme governance, planning, financials, risk management, and other core programme management processes. Drive business process re‑engineering, simplifying and standardising workflows to improve user experience and reduce waste. Partner with diverse internal and external stakeholders – including private practitioners, community legal centres, technology vendors, and government reform partners – to ensure alignment and successful adoption of new capabilities and a new operating model. Champion innovation and build on digital transformation and platform simplification efforts, including the use of artificial intelligence to enhance decision‑making and automate processes using strong data governance practices. Build and foster a collaborative, change‑ready culture through strong leadership, communication, and engagement strategies. About you You are a strategic and influential leader with a proven record of delivering large‑scale, multi‑stakeholder transformation programmes within government or similarly complex environments. You bring deep expertise in capability‑enabled reform, with a focus on digital and platform enablement, exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to translate strategic vision into tangible outcomes. Experience in grants management, government, payments or finance‑related reform will be highly regarded. Experience with modern methods such as human‑centred design and agile operating models will be highly regarded.
