The Waitlist Support Officer will be based in our light‑filled, open‑plan admissions department, working closely with a tight‑knit team made up of another Waitlist Support Officer and a Waitlist Co‑ordinator. About the role As the Waitlist Support Officer, you’ll play a key role in supporting the efficient scheduling of elective surgeries and ensuring patient care remains at the centre of all we do. A typical week will see you: Coordinating theatre dates for elective surgery patients Managing short‑notice cancellations and filling vacant slots efficiently Communicating with surgeons and patients to arrange appropriate surgery dates Supporting the Waitlist Co‑ordinator and collaborating with the wider admissions team What we offer: Thorough onsite induction and team mentoring Offsite training in patient management systems and scheduling tools A stable role in a collaborative team that celebrates reliability, initiative, and mutual support If you're ready to use your organisational and interpersonal skills in a role that directly contributes to improving patient outcomes, this position could be the perfect fit.
