We are looking for an experienced pastry chef to join our team. Join a great supportive work environment, and work in a big kitchen. About the Role No nights. 6am-2pm Requirements 2+ years experience as a pastry chef in a professional environment. Great team player. Strong eye for detail and exceptional organisational skills. Passion for food, innovation, and creativity. Proficient cake decorating skills, including wedding cakes (buttercream, fondant not required). Key Responsibilities Bake and finish brownies, cookies, cupcakes, slices, make doughnuts, breads, sandwiches, wraps, salads, etc. Make buttercreams, ganaches, fillings, etc. Ensure all products are consistently high‑quality, visually appealing, and finished to perfection. Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient workspace, following food safety and hygiene standards. Work efficiently to meet deadlines and customer orders while maintaining attention to detail. Qualifications Proven experience as a Pastry Chef and/or Cake Decorator in a bakery or similar setting. Strong artistic ability and a passion for innovative, trend‑driven cake designs. Skilled in buttercream piping, fondant work, sculpting, and other advanced decorating techniques. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining high standards. A proactive and creative mindset with a keen eye for detail. Strong time‑management and teamwork skills. Benefits and Perks Salary $65,000–$75,000 per annum + Super. Bonus structure.
