Melbourne Animal Specialist Hospital (MASH) is located in Ringwood, VIC and provides specialist services in Small Animal Surgery, Diagnostic Imaging, Anaesthesia and 24/7 Emergency and Critical Care. We are seeking a passionate and motivated Receptionist to complete our Client Services team. As a member of the MASH team, you will be part of a supportive group of experienced veterinarians, nurses and support staff who are dedicated to providing the best possible care to our patients. Be part of a team that invests in your success and well-being, ensuring a fulfilling and sustainable career. Responsibilities Greet clients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner. Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the front desk. Maintain accurate client records and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed. Process payments, handle billing inquiries, and provide financial information to clients. Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence/emails. Coordinate communication between clients, veterinarians, and other team members. General administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management. Adhere to new and established protocols/systems. Requirements Previous experience in a reception/administrative role, preferably in a veterinary or medical setting. Excellent customer service skills with a warm and compassionate demeanour. Proficiency in using computer systems and software - familiarity with EzyVet practice management software is an advantage, but not essential. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations. A genuine passion for animals and their well-being. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
