Company A renewable energy IPP that has a very clear vision and ambition for growing their operating portfolio. Backed by a strong balance sheet, the business has attracted some of the brightest minds in the sector who all work together in a lean, fast paced and highly collaborative environment. Position The company is gearing up for several projects moving into construction over the coming years and are looking for an exceptional Contract Manager to manage the full lifecycle of contracts including Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) through to commercial operations. Core responsibilities Taking the Contract Management function and milestone payment templates from early maturity and driving improvements towards best practice Continuously looking at new tools and systems that can more effectively administer and track contracts through construction (whilst maintaining a lean and agile operating model) Develop an intimate understanding of the key project contracts, effectively set up contractual trackers to highlight commercial obligations, and proactively manage risks Lead the interface with construction partners relating to milestone payments, variations, claims and any disputes relating to time extension requests Ideal profile Experience administering high value (>$100M) construction contracts Previous experience on a wind farm construction project is highly desirable Demonstrated success in improving the systems and processes around contract management for construction projects (lessons learnt, interface efficiencies, cost savings logged) Broader perspective of financial performance of a project - experience interfacing closely with project controls and financial teams Key achievements relating to mitigating contractual risks and claims and proactively implementing solutions Highly developed negotiation and influencing skills, ability to create and effectively communicate win win commercial outcomes Applying To be considered for the shortlist please click through the apply button and add your CV.
