Base pay range A$120,000.00/yr - A$220,000.00/yr BD Executive | Metric Geo | Driller | Geotechnical Construction Business Development Manager – Drilling & Heavy Equipment Solutions Location: Queensland, Australia - managing Australia, New Zealand & SE Asia We are a global leader in foundation drilling equipment, known for delivering innovative, high-performance rigs and tooling to contractors across the construction, energy, and infrastructure sectors. Their products are trusted by customers worldwide for their reliability, versatility, and support. We’re seeking a driven Business Development Manager to expand their footprint across their Australia, New Zealand & SE Asia territories. This is a high-impact role with the opportunity to work directly with decision-makers in the piling, drilling, and heavy civil industries. Responsibilities Drive new equipment sales and rental agreements with foundation drilling contractors, general contractors, and rental partners. Build and maintain relationships with key industry players, from estimators to executives. Identify new market opportunities and develop tailored sales strategies to meet revenue targets. Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and technical consultation to deal closure. Coordinate with engineering and service teams to deliver custom drilling solutions. Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and client demonstrations. Qualifications & Experience Proven track record in business development, sales, or account management (heavy equipment, drilling, piling, or related industries is a plus) Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to travel regularly for client meetings, site visits, and industry events. Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working with minimal supervision.
