About the role We are on the hunt for an Account Manager extraordinaire Are you ready to take your career to the next level? In this role you will be responsible for servicing customers located in Launceston and the surrounding areas with occasional travel to more distant locations as required. You will have previous sales experience at a Sales Representative / Account Management level or similar capacity. Your ability to build strong relationships in a B2B environment within the residential building industry will see you succeed in this dynamic role. Having a passion for outstanding customer service will result in delivering the required sales targets and KPIs whilst adding real value to our customers. You will be an enthusiastic self‑starter with proven results in driving sales growth in a target‑driven environment. About you Consistently achieve sales margin and product mix targets Ability to attract new customers in addition to growing existing business Analysis of sales and customer data to identify new opportunities Effective management of a diverse Builder‑centric customer base Development and implementation of sales plan and initiatives Responsible for communicating and representing both the Mitre 10 and wider TTHG (Total Tools Hardware Group) brands to key industry stakeholders through sales meetings, training and industry events. What you will bring to the role A strong ability to develop and maintain B2B relationships and influence decision‑making. A comprehensive understanding and previous experience in the building industry with knowledge in a variety of products from cladding, floor, doors, hardware to timber. Previous experience in a similar sales role. Excellent negotiation and presentation skills are essential. A sound business acumen with the ability to understand relevant financials.
