We believe that successful interior design is the result of a meticulous process that involves collaboration, creativity, and attention to detail. Responsibilities Manage and oversee all interns and delegate tasks appropriate to skill level. Manage the work flow of all projects and to manage all staff excluding contractors. Provide feedback and guidance at reviews for direct reports and manage any performance issues in collaboration with your Manager. Create and optimise interior layouts, ensuring functionality and compliance with building codes and regulations. Select appropriate materials, finishes, furniture, and fixtures to achieve the desired aesthetic and functionality. Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation sets for construction and procurement. Communicate design ideas and solutions effectively to clients, incorporating their feedback into the design process. Assist in project management tasks, including project timelines, budgets, and coordination with contractors and vendors. Stay updated on industry trends and source new materials and products for projects. Ensure the quality and accuracy of design documentation and project deliverables. Collaborate closely with the design team, including architects, senior designers, and junior designers, to ensure successful project execution. Maintain a high level of communication and collaboration with other areas of the Company. Ensure, at all times, the accuracy, integrity and compliance of all communication and information management with respect to the requirements of the Company, clients and applicable regulatory standards. Qualifications Minimum 5 years’ experience in an Interior Design / Styling role, or equivalent. Intermediate Microsoft Office (including Word and Excel) and Adobe Acrobat skills. Working knowledge of software programs including Revit Drawing Skills, Photoshop, SketchUp, Programa and InDesign. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
