Salary: Base $85,000 per annum (excluding superannuation) + performance based commission About the Role As the Sales Consultant/BDM, you’ll be responsible for driving new business and revenue growth through outbound prospecting and consultative selling. This is a 100% outbound role, perfect for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑autonomy environment and wants to make a lasting impact by building the sales function from the ground up. What You’ll Do The focus will be on identifying and generating new business opportunities in the SME sector across Australia, thereby improving market share and awareness of Magic’s offerings. Lead the entire outbound sales cycle: from prospecting and outreach to negotiation and close. Develop and execute strategic outbound campaigns targeting SMB, mid‑market, and enterprise clients. Own pipeline generation — identify, qualify, and nurture high‑value opportunities. Build strong relationships with decision‑makers to uncover marketing challenges and position tailored solutions. Create, test, and optimize outbound messaging, cadences, and call scripts. Manage deals in the CRM, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting. Collaborate cross‑functionally with marketing and operations for smooth onboarding and delivery. Continuously refine sales processes and contribute to our go‑to‑market strategy. A repeatable outbound process with clear qualification and conversion stages. A modern sales tech stack (CRM, sequencing, and data enrichment tools).
