The Role This role will be the lead on the implementation of the Employee Hero Software across the Vertech Group with a focus on the payroll implementation. Working with the Finance and HR teams you will be the lead for the payroll set up and configuration. Vertech has a complex payroll that has a mixture of Enterprise Agreement, Project Terms and Conditions and Common Law Contracts. The role will involve setting up pay rules into automation to ensure accuracy and compliance and auditing employees’ entitlements and contract details. The role is being offered either as an immediate start or the beginning of 2026. Duties and Responsibilities Lead the implementation of Employment Hero with a focus on the payroll system Create pay rules for both the Enterprise Agreements and project terms and conditions Audit leave entitlements brought forward figures to ensure accuracy Audit other contract details against the data entered in the payroll module Assist with the integration between Employment Hero and other systems and applications Responsible for the running and testing of the parallel pay runs to ensure consistency and compliance for implementation Required Qualifications & Skills Extensive experience with Employment Hero payroll module Experience implementation and configuration Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion Knowledge of project terms and conditions related to Oil and Gas Industry or Engineering project environment desirable.
