Your role with us: As our Product Design Lead, you’ll guide and support a team of designers, balancing hands‑on project work with mentorship and coaching. You’ll help your team navigate complex design challenges, provide actionable feedback and ensure every experience is thoughtful, user‑focused and aligned with KICK’s goals. Working closely with Product and Engineering, you’ll translate vision into clear design direction, manage priorities and elevate the impact of design across the business, shaping both product outcomes and the growth of your team. What you will do: Coach, mentor and support a team of product designers, providing actionable feedback, guidance and growth opportunities. Foster a collaborative, high-performing culture where designers feel empowered to deliver their best work. Lead design delivery across your product area, ensuring standards, principles and systems are consistently applied. Maintain design quality through critiques, reviews and hands‑on contribution, collaborating with senior designers and cross‑functional partners. Oversee project delivery, tracking progress, reporting milestones and ensuring timelines, scope and quality benchmarks are met. Refine team processes, rituals and tools to improve efficiency, consistency and scalability. Partner with Product and Engineering to shape the roadmap, influence product direction and identify opportunities where design adds value. Represent design in cross‑functional forums, advocating for user needs and evidence‑based decisions. Champion continuous learning, share insights and evolve KICK’s design systems, practices and operations for long‑term growth. What you will bring: 6+ years experience in product design, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role. Proven track record delivering exceptional digital products and leading design projects from concept to delivery. Experience working in tech‑driven environments or digital product companies. Interest or experience in streaming, gaming, entertainment or emerging technologies such as AI. Knowledge or curiosity about KICK, its community and the broader creator and streaming landscape. Experience designing for omnichannel environments, such as TV/mobile apps is a strong advantage. Excellent communicator, able to confidently present work and align design decisions with product and business goals. A natural mentor who values collaboration, feedback and helping others grow.
