Client Manager / Senior Accountant (Casual, Flex Hours, VIC) CA Accounting Solutions Pty Ltd – Greenvale VIC About Us CA Accounting Solutions is a boutique public practice based in Victoria, supporting a range of small to medium businesses, family groups, companies and trusts. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Client Manager / Senior Accountant to join us on a casual basis, with a genuine opportunity to transition into a part‑time or full‑time role as the practice expands. This role is ideal for someone who values flexibility, autonomy and meaningful client relationships. The Role You will manage your own portfolio of clients and complete a full range of compliance and tax work, including end‑of‑year financial statements and tax returns. Hours are flexible, and the position is primarily work‑from‑home. Key Responsibilities: Managing a portfolio of SME clients (client manager responsibilities essential) Reviewing: BAS & IAS All types of tax returns (individual, company, trust, partnership) End‑of‑year financial reports, workpapers and reconciliations Review bookkeeping Reviewing trust distribution calculations, schedules and minutes Reviewing depreciation schedules, journals, CGT schedules, Div7A workings etc. Ensuring accuracy and compliance across all deliverables Providing clear feedback to preparers and resolving issues Being the primary point of contact for your assigned clients Managing workflow, deadlines and job progress in Xero Practice Manager (XPM) Handling client queries and communicating outcomes Following up information required to complete jobs Supporting the principal with year‑end reviews and tax planning tasks Ensuring a high standard of quality control and client service About You Minimum 5 years’ experience in Australian public practice Experience reviewing all tax return types (individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships) Experience reviewing end‑of‑year financial reports (required) Strong trust taxation knowledge Previous Client Manager or senior client‑facing experience (required) Strong experience with Xero and XPM Excellent verbal and written communication Highly organised, reliable, and able to work independently Comfortable working in a flexible casual arrangement Interested in transitioning into a permanent role as the firm grows Nice to Have CA/CPA qualified or currently completing Experience in a small practice environment What We Offer Casual role with flexible hours Work‑from‑home environment Supportive, family‑friendly practice Direct access to the principal Diverse SME client base Opportunity to transition into part‑time or full‑time employment How to Apply Please submit your CV and a short cover email including: Your public practice experience (minimum 5 years) Your experience reviewing all tax return types and financial reports Your trust taxation experience Your client manager experience Your experience with Xero and XPM Your preferred casual hours and availability Whether you are open to transitioning into a permanent role #J-18808-Ljbffr
